PROCEDURE TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY Y

Download Update.zip file.

1. Copy the downloaded file to the root dirctory of your SD Card.
2. shut down your phone.
3. Reboot your galaxy y to recovery mode by pressing Home button + Volume up button and Power button .
4.  select Update from SD Card from the recovery menu
5. Now select Update.zip file you downloaded by pressing the home button.
6. wait till your phone is rooted , now reboot your phone from recovery main menu.
7. check for the superuser app in your app drawer.
